Einleitung

Kritisch diskutiert werden Ergebnisse zur Resistenzsituation von Anaerobiern aus dentogenen Infektionen.
Penicillin zeigte sich nur bei 70-80% der Keime wirksam, die Kombination aus einem Aminopenicillin mit β-Lactamase-Hemmer bei 95% (Schaumann et al. 2000, Sobottka et al. 2002).
Aufgrund dieser Ergebnisse änderte die Paul-Ehrlich-Gesellschaft für Chemotherapie ihre Empfehlungen für die orale Therapie. Penicillin V ist nicht mehr das Mittel der ersten Wahl bei dentogenen Infektionen (Vogel et al. 2002).
